    Seal?

I am mounting a LCD flush against some metal and i was wondering if i should use a "seal". Most of the casings i see come with a rubber, or foam "seal" between the LCD and the metal. Does anybody know where i can get some single sided "seal" stuff?

if not, ill just use double sided mounting tape from 3m to mount the LCD

Use self adhesive draught excluder, get it from any DIY shop, it is dirt cheap, and comes in hand for allsorts of other things, including excluding draughts.
It all looks a bit complicated to me

1st attempt went OK, but was too slow. Next version is all onboard, will use push buttons on the com ports, got a 200MHz 6x86, 128MB RAM, Winamp. Sproggy 2.6 kit in progress. 12GB Laptop HDD. No case yet!

Check into weather stripping. Single side self addhesive, and its only a couple dollars. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
