    LCDs from dead laser printers, any use?

    has anyone got a junk high end HP Laserjet 3 or 4 laser printer

    from what I remember these printers have LCD displays in them, was wondering do they use any popular chipset and are they easily rewired up to parallel or serial ports??

    Im always heading to the garbage dump to buy computer bits people throw away and Ive often seen discarded laser printers.
