well... after sitting there for a handfull of hours and a couple beers, cd rom cover, brackets, screws, file, tools, etc... i decided to can the motorizing of the psone screen.... it's just way too much work.... I guess I ruined an old cdrom for nothing.. oh well..
anyways... i'm gonna hinge the top of the screen to the door, and have the bottom slide forward as the door opens.
pro's - barely any thinking involved in making this, just need to make some holes in the back of the door for a hinge, and put some 3 1/2"-5 1/4" drive adaptors on the bottom of the compartment, and voila... then cover up the sides
con's - I'll have to relocate my S-AFC to the glovebox...

I ordered a ezgo pc, irman, cc remotes, and i'm debating whether i should motorize or go this route right now because I saw the light at the hardware store I believe
so.... I'm gonna give the motorizing another shot now that i have much better sliders and whatnot, also, better motor ideas.
I'll post up on the celi boards when i complete steps

well.. the motorized mechanism is coming along... if it doesn't work.... i can use some of the parts to do what the pic above kinda explains.
oh.. the gauges... yeah... they look good at night, hard to see during the day
the pics don't do em justice
oh.. the faces are the wrong material... that's another project i've got goin on.
