Good luck with your project. You might have some sun reflection problems with it so high up on the dashboard and it looks like it will be a long reach for the touchscreen, especially when driving.

Your stereo is in the prime place for a touchscreen. If it were my car, I'd remove the stereo, mount the touchscreen there and get a smaller stereo for AM/FM/CD/AUX in deck. If it is a double DIN there is lots of options.

so the Lilliput 8" is 19.6 cm
and the altima dash width is 19.5 cm

i photoshoped this pic that show how the screen is going to be with out the case

Hey, I plan to do something similar. I want to install my screen in the top compartment too. Let me know if you find a solution.....I think it will be a little difficult to reach it, but I am not willing to part from my factory installed stereo
