I need help as well and thought I would ask here instead of a new thread.

I have a no name screen. (i know, i know) It has a usb port in the side. i plugged a ext hard drive in it and it started smokin.
pulled it right out, but too late.

I burned the lil circuit board up as you can see in the first pic.

    OOPPS!

does any1 know where i can get a board like this? Maybe someone could help me identify what wires i could use to power it and bypass the board. The board has a a/v port( i thought it was usb), a headphone jack and the power 12v plug. Im a real noob at this so use lil words if u decide to help. Thanks. O and I have a m2 atx. i think its the 2 black wires and 2 red wires grouped together in the square plug...

Unrelated, but what does any1 think of this screen for a replacement?

That's called threadjacking. It's rude and against the rules.
How would you like it if someone came along and posted their issue in a thread where you're asking for help for something entirely different?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

If someone could jut tell me which wires i need to run power to and which ones to ground.... I dont need the av input or ear jacks/wires. Thank you.

edit: Some of you have some great knowledge about this kinda stuff. Surley someone can take a few seconds and point me in the right direction. My whole system is down plus in lookin at at least another 100 to 600 for a new moniter setup.
