There are plenty more out there. Pick one, buy it, fit it.
Hello everyone.
I'm considering the purchase of an 03 G35. The car comes with the stock navigation system, which I'd like to keep. I'd like to add a carputer and use the existing screen in the dash. I know theres products out there that will allow a secondary input into the screen. My question is; are there add on touch screen films that I could add to the existing screen to add touch screen capability?
In other words, can I add a touch screen film over the stock LCD so that I can use it as a mouse like a regular xenarc?
Or...
Is there a VGA touchscreen that will fit in the stock housing (I really like the pop up and down feature) and a way for me to use the stock navi on it?
I understand the stock screen isn't intended for a carputer and won't look as sharp as a vga screen, but I wrote my own front end software and I believe it would function very well.
Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure what the size is. If I had to guess it would be 6.5 inches and widescreen.
I'm not entirely sure if it can be done then.![]()

It can be done. Check out guinos install on his mazda rx8, hes got a flip with a xenarc mounted in it. Also, anything is possible if you got the cash![]()

I was talking about having enough money for buying or fabbing something along the lines of this. Its sold in the mp3car store. Scrap that crappy OEM screen unless you like PIXELs
