    lilliput fell off workbench...

hey guys...i recently got rid of my rsx and now own an '04 accord ex v6 6mt coupe. I had my computer and touchscreen sitting on my workbench after taking it out of the rsx and last week i accidently knocked it off and it hit the floor. If i plug this thing in, the power button lights up red and it i push the power button...the color doesnt change, nor does anything show up on the screen....can anyone help me out? or at least tell me what i broke?

if it was me, I'd open it up and see if something visibly broke inside or cracked... maybe a cable got loose? who knows... but depending on the fall (height, on what surface it fell and what part of the screen hit it) there's a big chance it's no good.. hell a Lilli broke on me on the second day I got it and I didn't even drop it lol

i opened her up and noticed NOTHING wrong physically, unless one of the backlights are cracked or something. Ive had this thing for a LONG time with NO issues what-so-ever...im kinda ****ed off at myself for f'ing this thing up. The fall was from a max of 3ft. onto concrete. The only thing that cushioned its fall was the faceplate that was molded for the rsx, which broke as well...but its being fixed and sold. Ill be sure to check all the wires when i put this thing back together....anyone else with some more insight?

EDIT: if looking at the thing falling it looked like this:

    ---------------------------TABLE

    /---]
    ______________________________________CONCRETE

it was slightly angled down and the face of teh screen was facing outwards, so it didnt hit "face first" or "back first"

Yea, i could imagine the tubes are like any old light bulb in that they cant take much of a shock like that. IF there are no loose connections to be found, and the fuse didnt break, you can check these places out. You can buy an inverter that comes with a tube for 8 bucks on mpja.com. Heres another place that specializes in CCFL tubes and inverters: ccfldirect.com.

even if the tubes are broken...you should still be able to faintly see an image on the screen still?
