HD Radio support in linux/nGhost?

The control library is complete. HalNineThousand did a great job with it, and it's been merged in to the linuxICE svn repository. He's also coded up a command-line control app that allows you to control the radio using a set of commands. The library includes some cool features like device auto-discovery, and it works with MithJS's cables, both as both direct serial connection and with a USB-serial adaptor.

The linuxice folks are working on adding some UI, and will hopefully we'll have some screenshots soon.

So does anyone want to share this protocol publically? It'd be great to not have to sniff a whole bunch of reports to code this up

Im writing my software in Delphi (pascal) and I could share whatever I come up with, although I don't think anyone really uses Delphi nowadays.

The status on the plugin is that it hasn't yet been created. The framework exists though to make it happen. It shouldn't take too long to do for anyone with the time... I'd be glad to pair with anyone willing to work on it.

I'm working on the plugin as we speak. I hope to have something to test with in the next couple of days.

I will need however, testers. I don't have hardware (donations welcome

), so I need some additional help to get it up and going.

I'd like to test it out. I already have two laptops running Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit and Xubuntu 32-bit, both ThinkPads (one a T400 and the other a T42) and I have a HD Zoom tuner, serial adapter, and the USB-to-serial adapter.

I just got my Visteon in Friday. By the time I get a cable from Mitch, (haven't ordered it yet), I will have my nghost drive setup. I'm testing both RR and nghost for my setup, and as I would like to have hd radio, I would be happy to test for you.
