so far so good! now how do i get nghost to load the plugin. i've tried adding nhandsfree to the plugins.conf file .. but it doesnt look like it's loading, any thoughts?
the nohands plugin for nghost was never finished AFAIK. Samr7 as been MIA also... Sam! Come back!
AH! that explains a few things! thanks kev000. yes it appears as if samr7 has disappeared, the source was updated about 4 months ago though! but the project looks very promising.

It seems to search a callphbook to show caller id, and some lines down it said about vcard files.Code:(callid, callphbook) = self.ag.waiting_caller_info()

have you tried contacting samr7 about your questions? A lot of us are interested in handsfree, but we don't know the internals of HFP enough to answer your questions. I hope samr7 comes back soon so he can help me integrate this into LinuxICE.Quote:

I haven't finished playing with the "Device / Options" settings but frankly I don't understand what it does.
I can call out speak into the microphone of the called phone and hear it on my speakers. I can press the tones on the hfconsole and hear them on the called phone. but I cannot speak and hear my self.
