Ok, This is driving me nuts. I have a 7" Lilliput Monitor, native resolution = 800x480. Ubuntu detects the following displays:
600x480
800x600
1024x768
I am having no luck getting native resolution, everything is stretched. I am using Intel Atom D945GCLF2 Intel 945GC 1.6Ghz.
The only thing I can find from research is a suggestion to use 915resolution, but I have run into a roadblock. ANy thoughts?
I wouldn't waste any more time trying. The display controller on the lilliputs will not recognize native resolution, no matter what settings you give it. See this post:

Lilliput has since fixed the bug. Your only option at this point is to buy a new screen.
