That's what I've done now, by the way. Hopefully resolved those bugs, but waiting on kant to let me know if it's actually fixedit sometimes won't read from the v1 until you retry the app a few times. Gary was planning on reworking how it reads, but he's been busy and so have I.

Sure, but it's still easier to *not* have to beg someone else to svn update and test, every time I make a minor change to the code. When I'm working on it and Kant isn't around [such as all my stuff I did yesterday], then it's just a pain; huge amount of code changes that I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit, since I wasn't sure if they even worked. Are you not working with kantlivelong? He has a V1 and a V1Connect to test with.
That, plus, I'd really just like to have a v1+v1connect.
In only semi-related news, Kant tells me that it's working great, now.

Any fresh updates on this?

I haven't looked at it since my last post on the topic.
I'm told it works but there's still a couple bugs when used against real hardware rather than my simulator, but that means we've crossed into the realm of "I really need hardware to actually debug this" - hence I stopped working on it.

No problem. Hopefully we can get this done soon and have it be part of the main LinuxICE installer. It would be great to give people the opportunity to have this integration.
