    tomtom in linux?

    was just reading about the new tomtom unit which is running on linux and thought it might be possible to download the software and use it on linux perhaps?

    It would be nice if they released the sourcecode for their product or ported it the i386 for use in systems that have their own hardware. I'd pay $100 for the software.

    Not likely

    Unfortunately if you look at what they have released, most of it is just tools and libraries they have modified for their purposes, they have to do that to comply with the GPL.

    They have not released code for any GPS software nor are they likely to.
