Oh ok.
It has been discussed already in our channel. We have some other priorities for now, so it's not yet implemented. If you want to help, feel free to jump in :)

I'd love to, right now I'm just much too busy. But I won't forget about Navit...
I was trying to get Navit off your svn server, but it doesn't let me in as anonymous user with no password - what do I have to do? I'd like to test wether it works on OS X.
OK, no problem.
Really? Weird. How do you do your checkout?
In case it helps until we solve your access problem, i've rolled a tarball with the current cvs code : http://www.kazer.org/navit/navit-20070823.tgz
Would be great. If possible, try to document your steps, i'll add your mileage to the wiki. Thanks in advance!
Great news that will ease your life !
Navit-0.0.1 is out!
Grab it while fresh at sourceforge !
http://sourceforge.net/project/platf...roup_id=153410
Don't forget the wiki :
http://navit.wiki.sourceforge.net
And meet us on IRC: irc.freenode.org channel #navit
Now we need beta testers (please fill bug reports) criticisms, ideas, and of course compliments :D
I'll test it, but as soon as we get some maps for NA.
Archlinux users can build my AUR package. At the moment only Gtk-Frontend works.

Thank you. This will ease our users's life.
I've added a link to your package in our wiki ( http://navit.wiki.sourceforge.net/Getting+started )
What doesn't work with the SDL gui? I saw you added the required dependencies.
Edit : I haven't tested it, but how do you deal with the navit.xml file? It's not cp'ed yet by make install. And navit won't work with a good configuration file.
I just tell the user with a postinstall script to look at the wiki on howto configure.
Missing scheme files...Code:[noneus@Lukasa .navit]$ navit
Can't find the datafiles directory for CEGUI files. Navit will probably crash :)
CEGUI Exception occured:
DefaultResourceProvider::load - TaharezLook.scheme does not exist
quiting...
Edit: Oh an normal make install doesn't install any scheme files. There aren't even any in the tarball.
