hi i review your posts i'm very interested in your work
so... any updates ?
Not from my side of the project
Mainly because my current map source (part of the whole project) proved to be inaccessible at the detail level i needed. However, as we speak, OpenStreetMap is importing the whole of the Netherlands (my primary concern) into the database with an eta of 7 days (the data is a gift from AND to improve the quality of maps).
Once that is complete and I find some more spare time I will resume coding on existing features, including phone support - at that stage I will need the bluehands module![]()
Hi everyone,
I am planning on picking this project up again soon. I noticed that the bluez project has grown a lot since I last looked at it, and it now appears that they have some form of headset profile support in their utils (according to the changelog/news). However, I have yet to find any more info on that. Does anyone know more? I wonder how much of my stuff/their stuff is reusable.
Hi gentoocar,
i'm very interested in this project. I'm using a small Linux based NAS (Linksys NSLU2) as MP3 and internet-radio player connected to and controlled by my Sony Minidisc headunit (my project name: CarSlug). Now a very nice feature will be to use this combination together with a bt-usb-adapter to make a headsfree unit for my Sony-Ericsson K800i.
But this seams not be simple... no working solution found in www :-(
So can i help a little bit e.g with testing, especial on arm platform? I'm a newbie on linux programming but wrote a few simple applications in c, for my CarSlug project. My application needs only a working library/daemon but no GUI, because my headunit should display incoming calls.
Can anyone explain what is today working and what not?
And ... pls sry about my poor english
Sinclair
I use RFCcomm to create the service/command link, then create the sco audio connection.I can here the music from AG according the Handset ,but i want to know ,why do we need the SDP session to manage the AG??
Well I was somehow under impression that bluetooth profile was implemented on Linux, in KDE extra gear, for some time ago already.

And we're working on Linux RR clone, so we're interested to help also in this project.
Will contract for C++/Win-Linux/PIC jobs
Hi to everybody. I congratulationwith you, because your progressions are great. I'm sorry also for my bad english...
I have a question.
I had try to use your blueHands java application
I did this:
root@enigma-desktop:/home/enigma/Desktop/bluehands_0.01# mv libbluehands.so /usr/lib
root@enigma-desktop:/home/enigma/Desktop/bluehands_0.01# mv libjbluehands.so /usr/lib
root@enigma-desktop:/home/enigma/Desktop/bluehands_0.01# ldconfig
root@enigma-desktop:/home/enigma/Desktop/bluehands_0.01# ./runLookMaNoHands
I'd get this answer:
