linuxice gesture plugin
so i'm in the making of a plugin for nghost for gesture support.
the gestures i plan to implement is back, home, volume up, volume down, workspace left, workspace right. and possibly more as i discover more, or you guys suggest :)
so here they go
Volume up/Down: "Imaginary" line through screen's middle vertically. tap once then hold and swipe up or down
Workspace left/right: same as volume but horizontally (should create alot more space on those touchscreens)
Home: swipe diagonally from left to write
back/erase if typing: swipe vertically from right to left
swiping through lists... generally like the iphone
i plan to also implement a quick list feature like the ipod/iphone has which is the alphabet on the right side of the screen to scroll by letter
and of course we can't forget shortcuts. if were choosing music we need a fast way to get to nav or whatever. letter recognition is a proirity for shortcuts.
i'm thinking of adding the feedback option but i think i'll leave that to the user throught a config or something
once i get the plugin working i will probably implement an option to remove the scrool buttons on the screen
those are the gestures i have right now tell me what you think of them suggestions are welcome.

I think there would be a need for this in LinuxICE, and I'm sure the LinuxICE group would be excited about anyone who wants to develope plugins or NGhost or LinuxICE.
You might try asking the same question on http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/linux/ or on the LinucICE site, I think it's http://openice.org ...
Anyway I just wanted to support your idea.

This would be killer, also I have the Visteon HD radio module and mitch cable and would love it if it worked with linuxice. If LinuxICE had all of the features that I use in Centrafuse/Streetdeck then I would jump ship over to LinuxICE in a heartbeat.
