Have you only one artists worth of music? nGhost sorts all the songs by artist then album, then title. It doesn't browse by file or by folder and expects music to be properly tagged.

Try out monday's release (or the latest daily-live which may turn into the final if all goes will with my testing). It should have some fixes for a few things.

    RC1 Update

I think I see where you are going with nscan. I have all album in folders (Jimmy Buffett folder under Music, albums in folders under that, Beatles in a folder under Music, albums under that etc. I need to look at the structure again and redo it. I'll look at that tonight and see if I can make it happen.

Hmm... nscan will recurse all directories and subdirectories under Music/* . It only ever finds one Artist? Does it read something like "Unkown Artist" ? You shouldn't have to worry about the directory structure as long as it's all under Music/. Just make sure all your music has proper id3 tags. There are a number of tag editors for windows and you can probably use them to add album art as well.

No, nothing other then the one artist, one album, and all the music on that album. I think I will try not to use that artist and start with another one and see what happens.

    Some Ideas For LinuxICE3!!!!

First and foremost...great job on the LinuxICE project so far. At this rate it will be one of the top frontends...Excuse me...The top CarPC OS out there by this time next year.

I do however have a few ideas on what LinuxICE3 should have:

1)More support for VIA based systems!!!!!!!!!!!
2)The ability to change the background image to suit individual preferences
3)An optional bootsplash screen that can be chosen to install in the advanced
option tab of step 7 of the install process
4)The ability to enable transparency for the buttons(so you can see your chosen
background image...that would be sooo sweet)
5)The ability to change your screen resolution for selected windows like Carbon
    and Navit
    6)More support for Touch Screens
7)A manual shutdown/restart option for those that don't have DC to DC setups

Just a few ideas to think about on the next release...Keep up the good work Kev000 and crew!!!!!!!
