Kev...Got my Frostwire files from XP copied over to my LinuxICE2 music folder. How do I add them to my nghost Music library???

    Thanks in advance!!!

when you reboot, nscan will scan your music directories. You can also point your music directory to another folder in the /etc/nghost/nghost.conf file. if you have a large library, be patient. you may want to disable nscan from scanning on startup in the /etc/matchbox/session file.

If it's a little temperamental, fear not, we are working on a new player for nghost3 that should take all your scanning worries away.

Update: Solved....We have sound and Library access!!!

How do I display media art? How do I create playlists? How do I maintain my pulse audio volume control settings?

media art will display in the now-playing screen *if* the album art is in the tag meta-data (id3 tag). If it isn't there, you can use your favorite tag editor that supports this. easytag does on linux.

playlist support doesn't exist yet and probably won't in this version. The new music player should. There is an update in unstable that i'll move to stable on monday that will fix pulseaudio.

How do I display media art?
I don t think this is resolved yet. I seem to remember reading the gray space you see is a place holder for the artwork when the scheme is defined.

    How do I create playlists?
I dont know the answer to this one, but atm LinuxICE does not support importing playlist so it may not yet support creating and playing.

How do I maintain my pulse audio volume control settings
    use the instructions found here.
