UPDATE: This GPS receiver is simply awesome. Picks up satellite signals and locks on quickly and with ease. Now I see why they are so popular!!!!

Still can't figure out how to set a destination. How exactly do I accomplish this? Also, where are the "Tools"? When I click on it, nothing happens. Do I need to add tools to Navit? How? Where from?

My BU353 has stopped working. The nghost setting is "mode =1", which worked before. My BU indicator light is dim, and it used to be bright. Is it possible it is damaged?

you probably want mode 2 or 3 for any sort of accuracy. make sure you are in an area where you can get signal.
