I installed using the "LinuxICE 2.0 w/maps" iso from openice, which I downloaded on the 9th of this month. Today, I have run apt-get dist-upgrade and apt-get update to get to 2.0.1.
My nghost.conf should be attached.

guess the file didn't attach. here it is. (note: open it with gedit or something similar to retain formating, otherwise it's illegible)
attempt #2
that could have something to do with it, but I am able to play the song. I just have to find it via the file manager, and mplayer plays just fine.
I just downloaded a file converter and tested a .mp3 file, and I have the same problem. The file type is not the issue. For some reason nghost just isn't seeing my files at all. Any ideas?

I have two files in the ~/Music folder one .mp3 and one .m4a, and I rebooted after adding each one. I'll try adding more to see if that fixes anything.
I just added a whole cd worth of songs to the library in .mp3 format and rebooted. and none of it is showing up in nghost. Is there possibly an issue with my nscan?
I had the same problem. What I did was create a folder inside of the music folder, then put my music there. Then had nghost point to it. Worked for me...go figure!!! For some reason I couldn't get nscan to work otherwise.
