try deleting ~/.nghost/NGhost and restarting the PC. I've seen more than once some database corruption that requires you to blow away the db and have nscan recreate it.
After somehow boinking my initial install, I decided to start from scratch.
I removed the pc, brought it inside, hooked it up to my desktop's PS and DVD drive & monitor. I then reinstalled from the DVD. Everything went smoothly. I transferred quite a bit of music to my ~/Music directory.
Today, I reinstalled the computer in the car. Hooked up my touchscreen etc, and a few things aren't working.
- Touch screen isn't registering any input
- nscan apparently isn't running as none of my music has showed up
- Nothing shows up in the Apps menu.
I dont even know where to begin. Of course, I could always re-install again, but I'd like to avoid that if at all possible.
