Usplash background image needs to be centered on screen!!!

I finally got my usplash created again...but now I have a small problem. It is functioning perfectly, but the background image is not centered. I built it with the source package. When I try to edit the x and y axis position settings for the image in the theme c- file, then open up the terminal where I am and run "make", the so refuses to compile, but does if I use the default c- file. Is there something I'm missing?

use the same image size as the example. that's usually how i avoid this issue.

Will start again from scratch then...times like these that is keeping windows alive on my system. Can never get everything to all work at the same time...soon as I fix something thats not working, something that was stops...aggravating as all hell! Also, how do I get virtualbox to start(prime example of what I'm talking about right here)?

UPDATE: Usplash is now perfect(got to extend the timout, but thats an easy edit job). Now if I can just get my virtualbox up and running we in there...finally(at least the stuff thats important that is)!!
