the tools probably don't install by default and that's why they may not be in the package.
There's always the source code.
I believe this question was asked in one of the other threads, but wasn't the thread topic, and I don't recall anyone leaving an answer. As of present there are no tools present. So where y'all hiding the goodies? I'm sure some tools would come in handy(especially if they are for ease of setting the destination, which I cant seem to get working).
Once again Kev I'm calling ya....even though in the mean time I will be doing thething.
Thanks in advance!!!

Where do I get the source package, and will it mess up my Navit install?
UPDATE: downloaded the bleeding edge version from svn...but have no idea how to install it. When I issue the command ".configure", it says no such file or directory. Can someone help a brotha out???

If you want to compile from source, you currently have to run ./autogen.sh first, which will build the configure script.
Let me know if you need more help!
