    Also keep in mind there hasn't been any optimizations likely to make that run smoother with XBMC. So it could probably get better.

    See, I knew I was on the right path, lol. Let me ask, is that GUI changable, so I can take certain things out? Like pictures?

    Yes on XBMC you can remove menu items on some of the skins.

    Now how hard would it be to create a custom skin. I would love something that looks like the rear controls of CF, or something similar.

    Did you ever get further with your research in to RPi? What HDMI to VGA converter did you get?

    No, the RPi hasnt been made available for sale yet. It comes out sometime in May, if I am reading correctly.

    As for the HDMI to VGA converters, I am going with these units. http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-VGA-Audio...=3VUTP4URLYYQD

    They seem to be the cheapest and have a form factor that I like. I have already bought the PSU for everything and installed. Now just waiting for the RPi to drop so I can buy all the main hardware.

    It's due to be finished from the factory Feb 20th, then they need to be shipped to the UK, then they'll be available online.

    Be ready to click purchase the moment they come out, I'm sure they'll sell out within hours.
