See, I knew I was on the right path, lol. Let me ask, is that GUI changable, so I can take certain things out? Like pictures?

Yes on XBMC you can remove menu items on some of the skins.

Did you ever get further with your research in to RPi? What HDMI to VGA converter did you get?

No, the RPi hasnt been made available for sale yet. It comes out sometime in May, if I am reading correctly.

They seem to be the cheapest and have a form factor that I like. I have already bought the PSU for everything and installed. Now just waiting for the RPi to drop so I can buy all the main hardware.

It's due to be finished from the factory Feb 20th, then they need to be shipped to the UK, then they'll be available online.

Be ready to click purchase the moment they come out, I'm sure they'll sell out within hours.
