cool stuff!, i too use xstroke with mplayer, only problem i have with it is half the time i cant get xstroke to STOP recognizing gestures, it tries to draw when i tap the OFF button (the little pencil) ...
i tried posting on the nghost fourms but was getting some really bad latency, so i'll make the posts here.
1. xstroke to control nghost with gestures. i've set up xstroke to work with mplayer on my car pc before, with it already having binds for pause, fullscreen, and volume control it worked pretty much out of the box. make sure that if its code is integrated into nghost that it still draws its line of what it thinks it saw, it helps with troubleshooting touch screen problems alot, because if its jumping around you know why it won't recognize your strokes.
2. voice recognition. i'd sugguest using pocketsphinx from www.pocketsphinx.org. its cmu's voice recognition engine, i've been using it for the past year, and could build the required files for recognition pretty easily for a fixed set on input words. its also got information on how to integrate its code into other apps. if you decide to go with it feel free to pm me and i can help you get it functional.

alright, amazing developers, question, is the try4.deb package on the "current" site the same as what's in the main svn? basicly i ask this b/c since attempting to install v.95 on either of my gentoo boxes i run into run time errors:
version outputxeon main # /usr/local/bin/nghost
Could not open input file: options/update_streams.php
Opening file 'options.conf' failed
Opening file 'font.conf' failed
Error loading font tintin.ttf
i checked your forums (still havent registered) but hoping you could shine some light on my situation. thanks!xeon main # /usr/local/bin/nghost -v

Hi,
I believe (but i may be wrong) that the program will look for options.conf in your current folder.
Hope this will help.

the try4.deb is nearest to the current state of unstable svn (still haven't merged with main yet and won't until its proven stable). I'll try to get try5 out today with some fixes and improvements. I'll also get out a snapshot of the source.
nGhost unstable will look for the options.conf in ~/.nghost, /etc/nghost/, or in the current directory where the binary is. It will look for the skin and related configurations in /usr/local/share/nghost or /usr/share/nghost or in ~/.nghost.

- Vastly improved GUI (thanks eubey)
You've seen screenshots and a video in this thread already so I'll cut to the point:

This is a pretty good one (IMHO).
checkout http://www.nghost-project.com and download the new nGhost 1.0.
Thanks again to all those who submitted patches and to all the nGhost devs.

Hi there.
Just a little bugger : the source package on your sourceforge page is broken : http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...kage_id=216304
If you download it, the archive is corrupted ( gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file ) and the package is extracted to nghost-0.1
I tried on two differents computers with different internet access, same problem.
Hope you will fix it soon![]()
It should work now (sf.net link updated)
cheers
