Thread: M2-atx hard off when turning ingnition off

Here's a strange one I'm having.. I moved my CarPC to a new car (Nissan Altima).. I put a switch on my IGN line so I can have the CarPC not come on at all if I had to take it in for service, etc..

Sometimes the CarPC will hard shut off when I turn off the car, sometimes it will hibernate.. Here's the strange thing.. Lately I've just been putting it into hibernate manually to avoid the possibility of the hard shut off...

Well, when I do that the PC just boots right back up.. What's even stranger is I will turn the switch off (so no IGN power) and the PC still boots back up! WTF!?

Got the exact same issue, but mine always hibernates, and most always reboots. The m2-ATX is the problem. I've been using a DSATX for the last few years and decided to change up my install (same mobo and other components, new case and PSU) and i'm paying for it now. At first i had the same hard off at ignition off problem others have shared. I added a relay on the ACC line and that was fixed, but now 90% of the time the computer reboots shortly after the led on the m2 turns off. This thing is a joke. It's not even ONE device either, i have 3 of them and they behave the same way.
