Thread: M2 ATX Problem

How can i see if i've ordered the one with the better resistor? because i dont want a M2-ATX sitting at home and its not working.. i havent got my M2-ATX yet and i've ordered from cartft.com, they havent shipped it yet.

I have the same question too. I am going to order the M2 along with the SP13000 in a couple of days. want to make sure it is all fine, as it will be internationally shipped, and returning stuff back for exchanges or repair is a killer.

Just a small update from me on this. I was told on friday that I am supposed to be getting a modified PS sent to me. I was going to ask andrewb if I could swap out this resitor to save all the international hassle but having just found it on the board the answer is no lol. I can only hope it doesnt take 2 weeks to come as its already been 4 weeks since I bought the first one.

I wonder if that's whats wrong with mine.. I have it hooked up indoors to an ATX PSU to do some testing and the board isn't booting up. I have the RED and WHITE wires going to 12V rails and the ground going to ground. My LAN led lights up but my board never boots..

would we be able to send these units back in for modification or exchange? i bought mine off of KaL's FS thread. i don't remember if i got the test unit or production unit.

Is there an aproximate date when these future versions will be available? Or Are they already available?
If I bought one now from mp3car.com, would it be the updated version??

Im VERY interested in purchasing this unit but I'm reluctant due to the problems im reading about. (I own a sp13000 - currently in the mail on its way here)

Just got word tonight my new/modified PS is being shipped tomorow. I will keep you all posted as to whether its a success or not. I think it will be though AndrewB seems pretty confident. Have to say he seems a good guy to deal with since my original supplier passed me over to him to deal with direct.

Ah that sounds great.. but AndrewB if you read this.. do you know if cartft.com has your old version or the updated version, i dont wanna RMAtroubles internationell, thats messy. Hope for an answer

Would realy like to know too.
I have shipped my M2-ATX to them and they have got it. But haven´t heard anymore. I guess they work on it.
