M4 USB cable question!
If I got the USB cable for the M4, how would it communicate with the mobo, since it isn't connected directly to the mobo. I want to add a wireless keyboard, but I'm out of ports.... I only need 1 more. Would this solve the problem and enable me to use my keyboard using this port.

That will not add another USB port to your system.
That cable allows you to connect your M4 directly to the USB headers on the motherboard so you can monitor the PSU and even modify some parameters.
If you don't connect it to the motherboard, then what's the point?
