Getting the Powermate to switch applications - OSX

I'm pretty familiar with my Powermate but haven't been able to get it to switch among more than two applications. For example, if I run iTunes and also Google Earth for nav, I'd like to be able to switch between the two apps by doing a long-click press on the Powermate.

I can get it to do a single cmd-tab which will switch it to the next app and then back, but if you have more than two apps running (like itunes, Roadnav & Kismet) you have to get it to do cmd-tab twice while continuing to hold down the cmd key. I can't figure out how to do that.

    Any ideas?

Is there a way for the power mate to launch a script? then you could just put the command into an apple script and do it that way.
Cant code cause I dont know how, but give me the paint bucket and my eraser and have at you!

Are you using the standard Powermate driver contols or Proxi??

Proxi gives you lots more options:

It's been a while since I used my Powermate (just dug it out of storage for my new carputer project) but I imagine Proxi will be very useful.

    WOW! That is COOL!

It's sort of a drag and drop front end maker! Thanks for the pointer to this. It's going to come in handy!
