It's no different than installing a Mac Mini in any other vehicle.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

Well this is the right site for you then. Everyone here puts computers in cars, and some in the glovebox.

    Search and ye shall find.

Capslock and forum etiquette dont mix.

Obviously you have not found the search feature yet. There is actuall an entire stickied thread dedicated to putting the mac in the car. There is even a special product that allows you to do what you need, and it has a SDC onboard.

You want to know if you can connect the +12v in your car, which is actually some horrendous fluctuating voltage between 6v on crank to 13.8v when driving, to a computer that requires stable voltage? I think not.

Also your mac doesn't need +12v. It needs a different voltage. You try to feed a stabalaized +12v into it, and you will destroy it.

If you feel I am being cryptic, I am. We need you to search. A carpc in not for those you cannot seek out their own answers. Things will go wrong, and when they do you might actually want to know how to fix it. Also this is an expensive hobby. If you cannot figure out what voltage your mac needs, you are not yet at the stage of buying parts. You are at the research stage.

If you feel as if you dont care about research, I reccommend the Infill T3 or Infill G4. They come preassembled, and can be directly connected to your factory harness. No mess, and no knowledge needed.

What 12v power supply? The battery? Yes, that's what you should connect it to.

First of all, I'm going to assume that you're pounding on your keys witht eh caps lock on because you're frustrated and angry that nobody is simply telling you the answer.
Well, the answer is here already. There is a subforum of nothing bot FAQs (FAQ = Frequently Asked Questions) that include a great many write-ups and instructional posts to help people in your exact situation. I suggest making use of it, if for no other reason than to fulfill the dreams of everyone who has provided information to that section. All they want, after all, is to help newbies to this hobby.

We don't spoon-feed 'round these parts. Nine times out of ten, any question you ask will get an answer that is a link to another thread that has the information you seek. This is one of those times.

    Well you have 2 options.

    1) Read up and do it yourself cheaply.

    2) Ignore us, and get the prebuilt systems that will cost your first unborn child...

So have you discovered the plethora of mac installs and what the magical cryptic device I was talking about is yet?
