    I've never checked for it myself! I guess you have to look for both a constant voltage or a pulse.

    Hi.

    What you should do is while the mac/p1900 is running short the green and black, mac pack cable to simulate the p1900 sending the pulse to sleep/wake the mac.

    If this works then you know that the mac pack cable is sound.

    All the P1900 is doing is shorting the green to earth IIRC.

    Check jumpers.

    List what your jumpers are set for.

    Sounds like the pulse is too long. I use a 2140, and that seems to be adjustable.

    I still haven't got this fixed, so for now I have to boot every time I get into the truck. A bit of a PITA, but luckily a boot only takes about 30 secs.

    Someday I'll have time to mess with this...

    I was having similar trouble and it turned out the green wire in my MacPack cable was not crimped properly into the Molex connector going into the P1900. Check and make sure all your wiring is well connected.
