it'll probably work, but i have never done it before. Either ask someone who is more familiar or to be safe, might just get a bigger PSU instead.
Guys, I have another questions. I see couple of old micro (which I'm interested in because of small physical size) ATX PSUs around me, and one of them outputs about 15A @ 12v. I was wondering, if I tie up two yellow wires and two black wires together, am I gonna get ~30A? cheers!!!

That should work. Just make sure that the power wires can supply 30 amps to the PSU's, which brings you back to the power problem.

yeah its definately going to be ok, as long as you don't crank the volume and the gain on the amp.
Dear mp3car people, can you give me some suggestion on how can I flush mount my 7" Lilliput (EBY701-NP/C/T) in the plasterboard wall? I'm running out of idea(s). This thing is bugging me a lot and actually stops me from going any further. Any help much appreciated. cheers!!!
You are probably going to have to take it out of the casing to do it. You'll probably need to fabricate a structure to replace the back half of the case. I'd choose wood just because it is easy to work with. Then, you build it so the front bezel covers the hole. Figure a way to mount the LCD works inside the wood box, bolt it/glue it to the plasterboard securely and put the bezel on.
Head over to the fabrication forum or the Show Off Your Projects section to see how people have mounted displays in their dashboards. Your problem is similar but easier because it is not prone to vibration and temperature extremes.

Thanks Bugbyte. Doing lots of wiring at the moment; will start working on the display within a day or two. Cheers!!!
Hi guys, I've done some progresses - the ATX power supply is now modified for the Kenwood amplifier. The PSU (model #FSP300-60GLS) I used outputs 8Amps @ +12v1 and 16Amps @ +12v2; I've combined these two and used a 20Amp cable for the PSU to amp (Kenwood KAC-5203) connection. Now I'm a bit confused here. I see there are three terminal point - Battery, Ground and the P.Con - what should I do with P.Con? I googled for it and found it's the "Remote Wire", which I don't know any thing about it. Is it kinda on-off switch for the amp, controlled by the head unit? How do I use this in my setup? Any suggestion/advise greatly appreciated. Cheers!!!
