apple tv in car with iphone as remote

hi guys i was interested in installing a mac mini in my car but i also began reading up on installing an apple tv so i have a couple of questions regarding it

first of how easy is it in terms of powering it

how long will it take to book up each time

can i set up a direct network with it so i can control it using the remote app on my iphone (tat way i don't need a screen)

if i do set up a direct wireless network will i still be able to do a Wi-Fi sync

any answers will be really helpful cheers

Not as easy as a Mac Mini, which can be powered with a Carnetix 2140 or P1900. The ATV needs an inverter to power it, meaning you will have to manually start it up each time.

Don't know. Probably not that long if the Mini is any indication.

This is probably possible, but you will have to hack the ATV. There are many ways to hack it, I'm sure.

The Carnetix 2140 shuts the Mini down when the battery runs low. Or you can set the Mini to shutdown each time.

The sticky in this forum has links to instructions on how to install a Mac in the car. You can also watch the video in my signature to see a Mac install.
