    Hackintosh carputer, resolution issue

    good evning everyone.

i have managed to get OSX working on my D945GCLF motherboard, along with my 7" lilliput touchscreen. and the sound worked great right after installation.

the only problem i am having is that i can not change the resolution. the only option in the resolution menu is 1024x768, and THATS IT!

i have tried displayconfigx, and followed the instructions in another thread ect... but when i restart the computer following the applying of the settings, the resolution has not changed, and all of the settings in displayconfigx have reverted to defaults.

this is very frustrating, and would really appreciate a push in the right direction, thanks ahead of time...

    well to put it simply...

the OS is, iATKOS 5i, its 10.5.6, the only thing you have to do is download the KText files here; http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.p...=post&id=29965

then download and run KTextHelper; http://www.cheetha.net/Kext_Helper/Software.html

unpack both .zips, install KTextHelper/ Run. drag the KText files into KTextHelper, type in your admin pass and click "Easy Install"

after a reboot, you have instant acess to a full range of screen resolutions for ur hackintosh...

EDIT: btw, with the D945GCLF, iATKOS works 100%, out of the box.
