Try using the cu.bt64gpsstar instead of the tty.
i purchase this gps: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.19498
I download the oficial mac os x drivers, and when i plug it i see it into /dev/tty.usbserial
Into sygic (wine) with bt gps i configure as /dev/tty.bt64gpsstar and it can see gps and navigate, but if if set it to /dev/tty.usbserial sygic dont work with gps signal.
Any one have this model of gps working into snow leopard?
No, bt gps works fine with tty.bt64gpsstar, but i want to use usb gps (linked at /dev/tty.usbserial )
When it's plugged, i see a new lan interface, but i dont confiugre nothing at this point (as an old modem) and gps data dont work...
With gpsnavx works, setting as USB Sirf III, usbserial and 4800, but sygic cant work with it (but works with bt)
I see. I've had trouble using devices in fusion on USB, although I have managed to get my USB gps to work (prolific serial to usb driver). Haven't ever figured it out.
I download a newst version of sygic to try into imac before go to the car, i hope it works; if gpsnavx works... i hope to find the way, maybe into wine config.
Into imac works fine
Seems to be a driver error or maybe a wine version.
