i think a few people on here have been looking for 8" 16:9, without any luck.
but its definitely cool to have.

The last mac front end I used - AMP - was 16:9 formatted. You could use it 4:3 but it didn't scale to it, you just chopped off part of the display.Quote:

I will agree with jr4284; especially for entertaining with widescreen movies, the 16:9 is definitely the way to go.
Otherwise, since 4:3 is more common, I use this monitor. Garmin Mobile PC works well with it...
Just another thought too:
Check your double-din opening size. I'm a big stickler for "it has to look OEM." I'm more concerned that the display I pick fits correctly than the aspect ratio.
