mac mini, would you do 4:3 or 16:9?

I'm either getting a 8" or 10" touchscreen. What do you recommend, 4:3 or 16:9?

i think a few people on here have been looking for 8" 16:9, without any luck.
but its definitely cool to have.

Well all they would have to do is look at the 8" liliput on the mp3car store to find one.

The last mac front end I used - AMP - was 16:9 formatted. You could use it 4:3 but it didn't scale to it, you just chopped off part of the display.

16:9 is also better if you plan on watching any widescreen video on your carputer. I run 4:3 and have to deal w/ the black bars top and bottom.

I will agree with jr4284; especially for entertaining with widescreen movies, the 16:9 is definitely the way to go.
Otherwise, since 4:3 is more common, I use this monitor. Garmin Mobile PC works well with it...
    All systems are a go...
    Currently in "tweaking" mode.

    Just another thought too:

Check your double-din opening size. I'm a big stickler for "it has to look OEM." I'm more concerned that the display I pick fits correctly than the aspect ratio.
