Intel Mac Mini Input Audio Monitoring in XP

Hi, long time no posting in here, but it's time for me to get rid of my SP13000 setup and replace it with something faster.
I have a Mac Mini 2.0Ghz (2009) model and was wondering while running XP is there a way to output the audio that is coming in through the audio input.

Basically I want to have a iPod/iPhone hooked up to the audio input and output the audio through the computer. Anyone do that or know of a easy way to do that in XP without having to add a USB device like a iMic or Soundblaster? If not possible I will keep my SB Live! and use that for audio but would rather have less stuff in my car.

You can have a direct sound out connection from the mini to the amplifier if you want. The sound to me is more than adequate, and if you have a EQ in your possession, than that can work as well.
I never tried a wired connection from the iPod/iPhone to the mini, and that is something to check out.
    All systems are a go...
    Currently in "tweaking" mode.

Yea I know I can hook up the mini to my audio easily, I have tried it with my MacBook Pro using the 1/8th optical out. (I have a digital DSP unit in my car that runs to my amps that accepts SPDIF or Optical inputs)

I'm just wondering if there is a way to capture audio through the audio in on the Macs and run it out the output like a monitor. But while running XP. I know of some apps on the Mac that allow that, I think called Sound Flower. But was looking for this ability while running XP.

Anyways, I don't think I'll be upgrading the SP13000 so soon yet, maybe just add a SSD to it and see how that performs.
