    Any Mac users out there??

I am having trouble getting touch screen drivers for my xenarc touch screen and I am looking to get a 8" screen and want to know if there is a alternative driver.

    Thanks
    Don

    You try http://www.xenarc.com/download.html?

Looks like OS 9 and OS X drivers to me.

The divers don't work with OSX, if the computer goes to sleep the touch screen stops working upon wakeup and usually depending on the laptop, the screen keeps the laptop awake.
I found that Xenarc uses 3M displays and that's were they get there drivers.
I wander if some other companies don't require drivers in OSX, because OSX have a lot of generic drivers already IE any two button USB mouse is fully supported.

"hey do u know of any media engine type programs for os x?"

What do you mean by media engine, can you be more specific?

Funny, it uses OSX icons but says it's for windows?????
But to answer your question no. Are you a mac user?
You can do most of this with the dock.

Looks cool though, I may not have the complete understanding of it.

user/employee I just like the AIO interface of the media engines. I think im gonna work with a couple buddys and create a custom interface using Filemaker as an engine for the mp3 library, and route66 as a nav program. Maybe we'll just make it a cocoa app, who knows.

Great, let me know I'm using route 66 now, boy it could be better.

I manage a Mac support company and we have a client that wants us to install like 5 complete mobile systems. I am interested in your project sounds cool.

By the way, what do you use for touch screen drivers if any??

I haven't purchased as of yet. Im debating on whether to go liliput, or throw down the extra cash for the xenarc. Either way I'll be custom molding the screen into my dash, then need to figure out where to relocate my Kenwood Z828 deck. I saw that digitalww.com had some OS X drivers, I was just gonna use those.

As far as the software goes I personally don't have any software development knowledge/skills, however I do have friends versed in cocoa, and what not that have mentioned interest in working so we'll see where that goes. I've also emailed a few people that develop custom cell solutions(salling clicker) to gauge their interest in developing something. I'll keep ya informed.

Those are the same drivers altough I beleive they are newer. I will try them and let you know. But I can tell that they come from the same place.

I use the Salling software and LOVE IT!! Works really good. If I get a call in my car it stops iTunes, that alone makes it worth it.
Please let me know if I can be any help with anything.
I also think that we are the only mac users here.
