Superb... Much thanks to the Hybrid folk for listening to requests and being very cheery at the same time (something that isn't usually seen). Looking forward to seeing this done!

Hey guys,
Thanks for the comments and suggestions! As Mike said, this is an alpha version and a lot is being done to make sure that what the Mac community is used to having is there in the product. This will mean AAC and FairPlay AAC formats that are supported by iTunes will be there, plus reading of iTunes information and having it displayed in iMeedia. This means your all of your playlists, etc. Addins support for Sherlock is something we definitely need to do as well.
I will try to get a new build done as soon as I can with the new lists controls.
Take care

Sherlock is, I beleive, outdated. Apple will be using the Widgets in Dashboard for information.
Wil they provide the same information? I.E. movie times, flight schedules and such? If those go away I will be quite disappointed.Originally Posted by Hyperjoe

I'm pretty sure Sherlock is still in OS X Tiger...
Wow, excellent stuff. Is your development team open to being featured in some way at www.macminichat.com? I'm also looking at a way to get a Mac mini into my car, and I will be scouring these forums to collect a lot of the information I'll need in order to work towards a goal.

I gotta say all this GUI front end stuff is awesome. VERY AWESOME! BUt befoe peeple get too ahead of themselves, I would wait for Tiger to be released so its powers can be unleashed into a frontend.
Corevideo is my main concern....

I wonder if the Mac mini will be able to utilize some of the Core Image functionality? I guess the issue is whether the Radeon 9200 has certain limitations. But yeah, Tiger would definitely be a consideration in the development of a car interface.

As far as Tiger and Core Image goes. Yes the Mac mini can utilize Core Image and our software is being designed and written with Tiger technologies in mind. I am an ADC member.

Just wondering what you would be using core image for? I'm guessing some tasty eye candy, which I hope turns out great.
