Just posted a thread in another section.

Mac Mini powered ICE in BMW e46 with Steering Wheel Controls support
The steering wheel controls also controls iTunes, DVD player, etc...
Boris got out of bed on the wrong side again this morning!
Boris, lets get out of the mac section before we catch some nasy disease!
I agree with this UNLESS you can provide how specifically you did this an discussion is kept to Mac-only stuff...especially with the DC adapter, since that is a problem that plagues the Mac Mini.Originally Posted by 0l33l
Thanks for the heads up.
when you begin to work with a mac in the car... you'll discover more problems... its not just the dc power supply.... well i guess i am the first to integrate the mac with the bmw steering wheel....
sorry about the double post, just wanted to post it here as an encouragement for the mac guys here....
if you realised that most of the mac dash boards are either in alpha or just not good enough.. we've built ours in flash and the backend is all in java + xml.
What software do you use for navigation?
looks pretty cool, but I think you'd get a lot better feedback if you gave more info regarding power supply, interface (possibly open it up to the public), and what navigation software, etc you're using. Looks pretty good, but people around here would like to discuss specifics on how to do it themselves, not drool over other people's setups.
