have you tried loading touchscreen drivers for the other xenarc 700s? or did they pull all the mac drivers?
Hey guys,
I've got my Mac Mini up and running and I've got one of the prelim P1900s here in the next day or so, but I went to install the drivers for the Xenarc 700IDT and I find that it doesn't have any Mac drivers! When I check Xenarcs site, they don't list Mac OS as a supported system, yet when I bought it only a few days ago they did (and I can prove it because I saved the Google Cache from April 7, which I will post here). Is this some BS or what!!! The company, Liyitec Inc, has no mention of Mac OS drivers anywhere, but they used to as well! The monitor is awesome, and I love it in every way, except IT DOESN'T HAVE MAC DRIVERS ANYWHERE AND IT SAID IT DID WHEN I BOUGHT IT!!! Anyone else share my pain? Or better yet, does anyone know how to make this work? Sigh.

I tried the ones for the 700, both from Xenarcs site and from eGalax.com, they dont work at all. The *****iest thing is that its technically a "700 series" and on their driver page those are for the eGalax drivers only. Can you believe this?
Can you get your money back? It's doubtful they'd make Mac driver available (again?) even if you put up a royal stink. I bet they had trouble with the Mac driver and decided to pull it, or it was a typo on the website. Either way, I would be ultra-****ed if I were you.![]()
Well, good news guys. MDLarson and I contacted Xenarc independently and were both assured that Xenarc is standing behind its products and will get a Mac OS driver out ASAP, or if they can't then they will find a eGalax board to replace it with and replace it for their customers free of charge. I must say, having purchased a lot of their products, they are amazing when it comes to customer service and I would like to add that when it finally does work with the Mac, this screen is absolutely amazing. I can't believe they took the issue so seriously - pathetic, I know, but you know what I mean when dealing with this industry. This is professional stuff and its not that much more expensive - don't cheat yourself out of quality. Kudos to them for taking this issue seriously and I'll update when I get the Mac OS driver!
well i use this same monitor and everything works fine for me. i just used the drivers on the cd that came with the monitor. They had all the mac os drivers on the cd. i am at work right now, but if you would like i could email you the dmg when i get home tonight. just pm me and let me know

I have one of the first 700IDT's in existance. The driver, and software on the site don't work for my monitor. I found this out over a year ago when I reloaded Windows on my old Laptop project, and couldn't find the original CD that came with it. So my touchscreen hadn't worked for almost 2 years!! Then I found those Liyitec drivers for the UTRC series, and all is well again.![]()
