GIve it time, with Automator and corevideo now implemented, I would hope ANY front end in progress (hint hint) would take advantage of these features.

Im looking forward to a good one.

Just upgraded my 1Ghz Powerbook last night from 10.2 to 10.4...took 1/2 hour to do the wipe/install from scratch (I don't like doing upgrades...rather do a full install).

Since I am on a older mac, i noticed the speed difference right away. The widgets are interesting, but I would like for them to show up on the desktop...not hide away. I am curiously playing with the iTunes one since it would be a learning start on how to control other apps.

I also was finally able to use my PC 5220 Verizon wireless broadband card...did the drivers from apple, and inserted the card with no problems.

I'm pretty pleased so far. I'm curious how the front ends will be hitting our forums now : dashboard and automator hacking anyone?

    Yay finally a graphing app.
The Zinio Reader, I believe, was introduced in 10.3.

And you must not remember the pre-Mac OS X days when Graphing Calculator was included on every Mac! (Read the truly amazing story here.)

I waited for Tiger's release to buy my Mac mini, which I'm still waiting on because my wife lost her job...

That was a good story. I hated not having the graphing calculator built into OSX 10.0. I thought it was a mistake only giving us plain ol calculator.

    Now I know why....
