If you're wanting to use the mac as a headset for your phone, then you're out of luck for now. I worked on this problem last summer, and basically came to the conclusion that it's not possible given Apple's current Bluetooth implementation. The problem is that the phone and computer need to set up a special connection for audio, separate from the connection used to control regular phone features such as SMS, and that connection type is only enabled for using a headset with the computer. There was a post on Apple's Bluetooth mailing list about possibly adding support for other devices to be able to use audio channels, but I wouldn't expect it any time soon.

Well, I recently purchased a HS820 bluetooth headset for my Razr -- is there someway I can pair the headset with my razr and use my mac (with bluephoneelite) to manage the calls (make, recieve, hangup, etc) ...
I can't seem to figure out a way, and would be interested to know if you had a solution.
