Anyone familure with how to utilize the mac as the audio gateway from/through your mobile? My main device is a Nokia 3650.
I've seen much discussion on it about a pc, but not mac yet.
I utilize salling clicker and romeo alot, but no luck there either.
I basically just want to utilize the proximity modes of salling or romeo or just bluetooth in general to answer, talk, hear, etc. from my mobile through my mac.
Thanks.![]()

I have seen this one as well, but it seems only to offer connectivity options, like dialing, sms, sync, etc. But no throughput. (not be default anyway).
Is there a work around for there software or other software?
Thanks
Wait for the updated version. Through Tiger you can use your speakers and mic to commounicate through your cell phone. And the developer has said that such an ability will be made available in teh next version of the software.Originally Posted by thecolor

Only Photoshop does.
BluephoneElite or Tiger will support this? As I have Tiger installed now.
Thanks
I would imagine he meant the next version of BluePhoneElite.
and also- I might sound like a complete newb when i ask this but what exactly is "throughput"?
meaning using bluetooth phone to connect to the internet? or being able to answer a call and talk through the computer to the phone?
sorry ... i am a newb to the whole bluetooth phone integration.
thanx

Me too. I think he's talking about using your Mac as the audio output for your bluetooth phone. That is, when the phone rings and you answer, the Mac turns down the music and plays the voice from the phone over the Mac's speakers. You'd still have to have a microphone, presumably from your bluetooth headset.

AH! okay. cool, thanks. After I posted that I was reading the website of the program and actual using my brain and came to the conclusion of that's what it was. But an interesting point is that this ability is not yet available and by using this program you might not be able to use a blue tooth headset at the same time because of chane conflicts .... it's in the faq on the program's site ....

I was wondering if there has been any update with this?
I would really like to be able to use my mac as a virtual headset for my razr...
Are there any widcomm-like solutions for the mac?
Is anyone aware weather the mrouter is still available on Tiger or has been reintroduced? I've been unable to locate it since the upgrade, as such there is no longer internet through bluetooth functionality via my mac. So, my phone is really only good with the basic functions of like Salling Clicker.![]()
