Hey guys. Donations are always welcome but as of now we aren't planning on charging anything for the final release if and when we get there. We are putting a lot of time and money into it but both my brother and I hope to promote development and the idea of open source. However, we are putting a lot into this so any contribution whether its a little code or some ideas or even donations towards further development we appreciate it all. Just let us know.

looked a little into pyodb its alot of downloads to get it running if you have never used python before, I still cant get it to run though. It uses a serial odbII connector that then goes to a serial-usb converter. on the mac-python site it sais that applescript can be intigrated with some additional coding but i still think it will be a pain to get running because anyone who will run it will need all the python downloads maby an installer script can help with that though. Also just as another thought is it possible just to maby code the map created in kismac(a wardriving tool) into a window so it is easy to find internet around town? I kno its alot of work to pogram a frontend and even more to deal with an open forum of people and their oppinions but you are doing a great job and a really like the app.

    couple of questions:

first: whenever i click on advanced in the itunes tab and try to browse playlists it gives an applescript error. anyone else experiencing this?

second: is there any way to edit applesript in windows? i wanted to see if i could somehow take the itunes interface and change the commands around so that i can use the same interface to create a control for the radioshark and jxm but this is difficult as my mac is in the car and my only other computers are all windows (cept for my old powerpc 7200/90) maybe i should try a mac emulator?

well of course a powerpc emulator doesnt work well (pearpc) but i shouldnt have to run os x to work on applescript. some of the older mac emulators run just fine (basilisk II comes to mind). at least i assume i can do this

Mac Emulation past the G3 is near impossible, at least completely.

Software emu of the Velocity Engine, or Altivec is very very very difficult. And nothing soft can replace something "hard" (lol) in so far as to say that any Mac OS Emulator will run far worse than VPC ever did on mac.

You want to edit "apple"scripts on a NON apple machine/OS, i dont think this would work.

Sound like you gotta trash the PC or move the mac back into the house to work on it....

I have just been playing around with the .nib files today and have kind of started a possible "skin" at this point there are only two icons and a background but here are some screenshots I cant deciede if it should be brushed metal or black.

I think I like the black one more but what do you think?

btw the tabs on the top are not perminant they are just there to make it easier to move around interface builder

    Nice !!

    Quick suggestion:
Top bar/buttons or similar would need to be bigger to enable use via a touchscreen. Total screen real estate 800x600 I guess for most touch screens.
