have you tried getting the drivers from the following website: http://www.egalax.com.tw/support-drivers.htm
the drivers there work for lilliput, xenarc and the "avatar/super" screens seen on ebay, so it might work for yours as well.
hi
i alread bought the MTS12000 touch screen thinkin i was going to get a windows based carputer but am considering getting a mac mini instead. does anyone know if this touch screen works with it? there is an option on the driver cd to install on 'imac os 9.x' but i would be using os10 and not sure if it only works on an imac or if it does work on the mac mini? anyone know?
did a search and found nothing.
thanks.

well i don't have the mac mini yet but will try if i decide to get a mac mini. thank you. i guess the worst case i could just put os9 on it. im a windows user so i am curious, would there be a lot of shortcomings using 9 vs osX? if so what would they be. thanks again for the suggestion
none of the new macs support booting into mac os9 anymore. only osx.
i dont suggest getting a mac mini for your car until you become more familiar with macs at home first.
just my advice, but do what you wish
what I did is got a mac mini last february and I've just been playing with it since then, getting a feel for the mac platform, planning my install and getting parts together slowly. My initial install will be complete by august 14th when I go back to school.

linux can run on mac mini's, and i am an occasional linux user, so maybe i will install that on it. what's drawing me to the mac mini is the size. purchasing a carputer from mp3 car would mean i probably wouldn't be able to keep it under my seat, which is the ideal place for it.
if you need any help, lemme know
