Lots of stuff works... I'm running firefox right now as I type this, but I don't really have any mac apps to try. I'm pretty sure photoshop works, this forum seems to be the best but it keeps going down:

so when you install say, Photoshop, do you install the Mac or the PC version.. ???
I know that most popular apps have been ported to mac ( Mozilla, Office, etc )

Up until yesterday or the day before, you could only run applications that were compiled for the new x86 UNLESS you had a computer with SSE3 instructions. Apple's new x86 OSX includes a system called Rosetta which does on-the-fly conversion for PPC applications so they can run on x86. Now, it is possible to do this on SSE2 processors as well (MUCH more common). So theoretically, yes, all Mac apps SHOULD run, but there is likely to be some bugs in a few of them.

It really is fun to mess with OSX86 though - it runs just as fast, if not faster than my friend's powerbook on my laptop...

so having a SSE2 system, I have to run Rosetta to run Mac Apps (plus I believe some font issues are tied to Rosetta)..
But, I could install my PC/Win versions of Adobe CS2 and Office 2003 and any other PC app ??

    I'm still confused..

No. You are not going to be running any Windows apps on ANY mac, real or fake, without an emulator, and even then it will be slower. Rosetta was originally only able to work on SSE3-enabled processors, but has since been hacked to work on SSE2 processors. Now, it is possible to run native PPC _MAC_ applications as well as new x86 _MAC_ applications.
