New Mac Mini: Built In TV Tuner with DVD and FrontRow

    http://www.thinksecret.com/news/0511macmini2.html
A new in-car experience we have all been waiting for built-in TV tuner, front row, and maybe even fast dual-core intel processors, if not then at least intel procesors.

Should come out sometime this week along with new ibooks!

if it is in fact true that it has an intel processor ipwill probably one from their low voltage/form factor line wich I believe is the pentium M and I don't think thats dual core. the tivo stuff sounds cool though and it would be sweet to replace my hacked up atx imac 333 with a sweet looking mac mini in my entertainment center.

    Yonah

The new Mac mini will be announced on Tuesday, most likely. It will be Yonah based and that might be single core, but more likely Core Duo. Yonah is the successor to the Pentium M and it's moniker is Core, Single or Duo. It will absolutely positively NOT be a Pentium M based product.

    Best Regards,

No, it’s not Pentium M (yet) or there is nothing related to “installing windows on Mac” kind of stuffs as well. It’s just an Intel chip i.e. the new chip is manufactured by Intel instead of IBM.

Thanks BugByte. I took a bit of a break. Real life came along and bought my first place :-)

I am looking forward to an intel Mac Mini:-) If they do release a multmedia one, I plan to get it at least for home first, and maybe for the car.

Does anyone have any updated news on this? I've been searching all over this forum and the internet at large and can only find articles that look forward to Macworld Expo 2006.

Well, the expo happened and most of the reviews I've read mention nothing about the new Mac Mini. Was it not talked about or is it not mentioned because Mac Mini interest is dwarfed by other mac news?

A verified list of new features and a rough release date would be awesome so I'll know how long my wait will be for my carputer's brain.
