Found on Digg this morning:Article:No, you haven't missed a joint announcement from Apple and Griffin. However, you might have missed this post on Make which links to ZapWizard's Flickr set detailing how he put a Mac mini, with accompanying LCD screen and mouse/keyboard, into his car.

Hey folks, that project is in the gallery:
Mac Mini in a Mazda Protege
Basicly I had an unexpected 4000 Mile road trip to undertake and I wanted to have a bit more entertainment then my 20GB iPod along the way.
I did the entire modification and install in three days, and even wrote a applescript for syncing GPS and Google Earth before I left on the trip. (Got back yesterday)
I already owned the iTrip, so that is why I used that model.
Before I left the iTrip wouldn't turn on for some reason, so i bought a Monstor Brand Plug-in FM modulator that was quite expensive at Radioshack just before we left.
But once on the road the iTrip never failed.
It also sounded about a million times better then the Monstor FM Modulator as far as base and clarity. (I am returning that one)
It overpowered every local radiostation when we were in a city with no problem.
Also it wasn't installed to be permenent, as I will be replacing my headunit in the car with the LCD, RadioShark, and some Amps.
Could you post the script to sync GPS with Google Earth. Also how well did it work? Thanks.
It's posted, see here:Originally Posted by emtkopan

It is crude but works as it should.
It needs lots of tweaks, and eventually a GUI.
