I just downloaded this and tested it out on the PowerBook - basically I could get it to work by dragging the text out of the input box to the desktop (creating a finder file with the word in it) - then selecting the new word file in Finder and selecting Edit-Copy and then pasting it into the text box I want the text in... of course I was using a mouse instead of the touchscreen in my Jeep, but I think it would work the same way. If there was a copy button on the keyboard next to the clear button, that might be more efficient.
